The Town of Ocean City and the Play It Safe program team up each year in an effort to provide an eclectic mix of safe and fun events for the June Grads to enjoy while visiting us in OCMD. Downtown Berlin is the place to be this Friday, May 13, as the team from Ocean 98 takes over Main Street for the 6th annual May Day Play Day! Each May, the local radio station fills the streets of Berlin with live music, games, and activities for the entire family. The all ages event is from 5pm until 9pm, with free admission. Another fun-filled weekend awaits us in Ocean City, Maryland, as we continue to enjoy all that the spring season has to offer at the beach. The spring weather may be unpredictable here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, but what we can count on are plenty of family-friendly events to enjoy every weekend. This weekend, we have our sights set on the 22nd Annual Maryland International Kite Exposition. The Town of Ocean City and The Kite Loft welcome you to join them on the beach and Boardwalk at 4th Street for three fun-filled days of kite flying. The Ocean City Boardwalk is host to so many terrific events throughout the year, not to mention the countless hours of entertainment that locals and visitors enjoy there year after year. One of our favorite events is scheduled for this weekend – the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! Not only is it a great chance to get outdoors and enjoy a walk or run along the Boardwalk on a warm spring day, but it’s also a fundraiser for an incredible cause, breast cancer research and awareness. The 5th Annual Race for the Cure in Ocean City, MD will be held on Saturday, April 16.
