If you’ve driven past our Tugos location on Route 50 in the past few weeks, then you have probably noticed some serious work being done along the roof of the restaurant. Well, we are proud to announce that our rooftop tiki bar is officially open for business! Of course this calls for a major celebration, so we’ve decided to celebrate all week long with food and drink specials. In honor of the latest addition to the Tugos Tap House, we’re offering happy hour all day and night at our West Ocean City location, including half-priced draft beers and $1.99 cocktails. Our Tap House boasts 78 draft beers to choose from, ALL being offered at half price from now through Friday. And that’s not all; we’re also featuring a FREE buffet Wednesday and Thursday from 3-6pm. We’re certainly not letting the unseasonable weather rain on our parade, so come on in to Tugos and celebrate with … Continue reading

Can you believe June is here?! We sure can’t, but we certainly aren’t complaining. June brings sunshine, beach weather, and a ton of awesome events to Ocean City, but for recent high school grads, June means one thing…senior week! The Town of Ocean City and the Play It Safe program team up each year in an effort to provide an eclectic mix of safe and fun events for the June Grads to enjoy while visiting us in OCMD. Each year, we contribute to the initiative with specials and activities. This year, Pizza Tugos is partnering with Play It Safe and holding three Pizza Eating Contests for the June Grads/Senior Week crowd. The first contest will be held this Saturday, May 30 at the 116th Street Pizza Tugos at 2pm. The Pizza Eating Contest will be open to the first 25 guys and 25 girls (June grads only) that attend. Don’t think you can handle the … Continue reading

Spring has officially sprung here in OCMD, which means some of our favorite springtime events are on the horizon, including several fantastic philanthropic events held on the Ocean City Boardwalk. First up in our local events calendar is the 4th Annual Race for the Cure, scheduled for this Sunday, April 25. Each year, Komen Maryland holds several fundraising events, including the Race for the Cure in Ocean City. The funds raised go towards breast cancer programs, including educational conferences, resource guides for newly diagnosed women, survivor support and education, and Breast Health Outreach in the community. The annual Race for the Cure is a major fundraiser for Komen MD, as hundreds of men and women turn out to show their support on race day. The race starts at 9am on Sunday at the southern end of the Boardwalk. After a morning of racing for a good cause, why not head into Tugos to refuel on … Continue reading
