Before we know it, the turkey will be devoured (along with all of the delicious sides and desserts) leaving you in a full-on food coma. Once the dishes have been cleaned and all of thanks given, the focus becomes two-fold: football and shopping. We’ll start with shopping. Black Friday and Small Business Saturday follow closely on the heels of Thanksgiving, meaning it’s time to get your shopping game face on as you hit the local streets for the best shopping deals in Ocean City, West Ocean City, Berlin, Southern Delaware and Salisbury. It’s arguably the best two days for shopping but it’s also the most exhausting, which is why we will be open and ready to cure your shopping ills. Sidle up to the bar for a refreshing libation or refuel with lunch or dinner. Shopping hangry is dangerous, so why not take a much-needed timeout with our friendly staff instead! Of course for those … Continue reading

Weekend Warriors Head to Pizza Tugos

Posted: November 11, 2015

The weekend is upon us, and while we are already eying up Thanksgiving (and the Thanksgiving eve shenanigans) there are still two weeks to relax and enjoy a little calm here in Ocean City. The weather has been mild lately and this weekend looks just as promising, which will be perfect for those of you gearing up for the Storm Warriors Boardwalk 5k. Starting at the Ocean City Life Saving Station Museum, the 5K will send runners and walkers on a 3.1 mile trek up the boardwalk and back, starting at 9am. After the race, join us for lunch at Pizza Tugos! Celebrate with a pizza and a pint of our local craft beers; after all, we have the largest selection in town! Football is also in the forecast for our weekend here at Tugos, kicking off Thursday night with the Jets and the Bills at 8:25pm. Sunday, the matchups are looking promising, with the … Continue reading

From the over-abundance of candy to the horror movies on television to the creative costumes we see floating in and out of the bar and restaurant, we love every creepy, creative second of Halloween. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, with the majority of local trick-or-treat times falling between 5pm and 8pm, which just so happens to be prime dinner time. If you think you are going to wrangle up the kids and cook dinner before they gorge themselves on candy…think again. Which makes it the perfect night for pickup or delivery from Tugos! Whether you go simple with a couple of our craft pizzas, or switch it up with salads, sides, subs or pasta, it’ll make your life much, much easier during the busy evening. Not trick-or-treating? Well, we’ve got you covered there too. Stop … Continue reading

October means an abundance of fall fun is in store for us, including football, the return of some of our favorite fall beers, and plenty of festivals for our patrons to partake in before joining us at Pizza Tugos. Currently on our radar are Oktoberfest-inspired events, including two that are just a short drive from Tugos – Berlin’s Octoberfest celebration and Ocean City’s O.C.toberfest. In Ocean City, O.C.toberfest spans several weekends, and includes a Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade this Saturday, followed by the Drive in Disguise Halloween Parade next Saturday. Any day this weekend or next, head to the beach at North Division Street to explore the Beach Maze.  In Berlin, Octoberfest celebrations are scheduled for this Saturday (Oct. 17) from noon until 6pm with fun for the entire family. Kids activities, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, polka music, live music, beer by Burley Oak Brewing Company, a full sidewalk sale and more await you. Get your … Continue reading
