Think Pink at Pizza Tugos after the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
The Ocean City Boardwalk is host to so many terrific events throughout the year, not to mention the countless hours of entertainment that locals and visitors enjoy there year after year. One of our favorite events is scheduled for this weekend – the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! Not only is it a great chance to get outdoors and enjoy a walk or run along the Boardwalk on a warm spring day, but it’s also a fundraiser for an incredible cause, breast cancer research and awareness.
The 5th Annual Race for the Cure in Ocean City, MD will be held on Saturday, April 16. Participants and spectators will gather at the Ocean City Inlet Parking Lot at the Registration Tent at 7:30am, with the race starting at 9am. There are two options: a 5K Route for walkers and runners, and a 1-Mile Family Fun Walk for walkers of all ages. After the race, enjoy the Runners Award Ceremony at 10am, followed by the Parade of Pink, Survivor Photos, and Survivor Dance Party.
After a long morning of running/walking and fundraising for Komen Maryland, we invite you and your family to join us at Pizza Tugos for some post-race fun with pizza, wings, salad, subs, sandwiches, craft beer, cocktails and more. Relax and unwind with the Pizza Tugos team as we collectively enjoy a beautiful spring weekend in OCMD!
