Halloween in Ocean City, MD: Ghost Tours, Fall Nights and Pizza Tugos
The summer crowds have gone home, the Boardwalk has a little chill to it, and October in Ocean City is starting to feel spooky in the best way. This year Halloween lands on a Saturday,
which means a full weekend of costumes, parties, and late nights. Whether you’re a local who waits all year for the quiet season or a visitor squeezing in one more trip to the beach, here’s how to do Halloween in Ocean City, MD, with plenty of pizza along the way.
Pizza Tugos has been part of OC’s fall routine since 1983. As the original pizza of Ocean City, we’ve fed a lot of trick-or-treaters, costume parties, and post-tour hungry crowds. Here’s what we’d put on your October list.
Take the Ocean City Ghost Tour
If you want the real local legends, the Ocean City Ghost Tour runs every Saturday in October, from Oct 10 through Halloween night. Tours start near the Life-Saving Station Museum at the
Inlet and run from 7:00 to 8:45 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for kids 8 to 12.
Nearly two hours of walking and ghost stories work up an appetite. Our South location on 18th Street is a short drive from the Inlet, so you can grab dinner before the tour or a few slices on the way home. Or skip the drive altogether and have a hot pizza waiting at your hotel or condo when you get back.
Throw a Halloween party without the cooking
Hosting this year? Let us handle the food so you can focus on the costumes and the decorations. Pizza Tugos offers fast, free delivery across Ocean City, with our 30-minute delivery promise. A few large pies, an order of wings, and some subs will feed a houseful of ghouls without anyone standing over a stove.
A few tips for party orders:
- Order a little early. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and Saturday nights can get busy. Placing your order before the party starts keeps things running on time.
- Mix it up. Pair a couple of classic cheese and pepperoni pizzas with a specialty pie or two so there’s something for every guest.
- Order direct. When you order directly with Pizza Tugo, you earn points in our Rewards program toward future orders.
Make it a night out at the Taproom
Not every Halloween plan needs a costume. The Pizza Tugos Taproom in West Ocean City has one of the biggest craft beer selections on the Shore, with 78 taps, plus a full bar and plenty of
room to spread out. Come for dinner, stay for a seasonal pint, and grab a table with friends before or after your own Halloween plans.
Bring the kids in for dinner
Trick-or-treating takes energy. Before or after the candy run, bring the family in for a sit-down meal. Our dine-in menu includes a kids’ menu, plus favorites you won’t find on the delivery
menu, like craft burgers, baked ziti, fried shrimp, and crab dip. Check our Menus page under the dine-in tab for the full list.
